Salvatore Maurizio Maggiore is an accomplished professional in the field of anesthesiology and critical care medicine. Currently serving as Chair of the Congress Committee for the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine since October 2023, Maggiore has also held the position of Direttore UOC Anestesia e Rianimazione at Azienda sanitaria locale Lanciano Vasto Chieti since November 2020. In academia, Maggiore is a Full Professor at "Gabriele d'Annunzio" University of Chieti-Pescara and has previously served as Assistant Professor at Catholic University of Rome.
