Faustina Sharma

Faustina (Freiter) Sharma currently serves in the School of Arts and Science at Azim Premji University, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Faustina held the role of General Manager at Pearson from August 2017 to December 2020, where responsibilities included leading a team of Education Domain specialists to enhance learner outcomes and engage various stakeholders in educational transformation. As a Partner at anekataa from March 2015 to 2017, Faustina contributed to empowering young individuals, particularly women, to realize their potential and foster personal and professional development. Prior to this, Faustina was Vice President at Hippocampus Learning Centres from September 2014 to February 2015, overseeing product and training functions for pre-primary centers in rural Karnataka. Faustina also co-founded iDiscoveri Education, where from October 2005 to March 2013, involvement included project management, school consulting, curriculum implementation, and teacher coaching. Educational qualifications include a BA in Psychology, English Literature, and Journalism from Bangalore University, completed between 1989 and 1992.
