Rogerio Mariano

Rogerio Mariano has extensive experience in the field of network planning and infrastructure development. Rogerio has held various roles in different companies, including Azion, where they served as the Global Head of Edge Network Planning and Director of Edge Strategy. In these positions, they were responsible for developing global network strategies, managing relationships with ISPs and carriers, and overseeing the deployment of network infrastructure in multiple regions. Additionally, they have also been involved in industry organizations such as The Global Peering Forum and Brasil Peering Forum, where they contributed to advancing the interests of individuals involved in peering and interconnection. Prior to their roles at Azion, Mariano gained experience in network consulting engineering and deployment engineering at Juniper Networks and Petrobras, respectively. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in strategic negotiation, business case modeling, infrastructure development, and market analysis.

From 2020 to 2022, Rogerio Mariano attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a degree in Business, International Relations, and the Political Economy.
