Stephen Panek

Stephen Panek has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on sales and account management. Stephen is currently the Director of Strategic Accounts at Aziyo Biologics, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Director National Accounts at the same company from November 2019 to April 2023.

Before joining Aziyo Biologics, Stephen worked as a Corporate Account Director at Smith & Nephew from May 2018 to November 2019. Stephen also held the position of National Account Executive at CONMED Corporation from January 2017 to May 2018.

Furthermore, Stephen has also worked at Bioventus as a National Account Manager from November 2015 to January 2017. During their tenure there, they successfully developed and implemented strategies to secure contracts with major healthcare providers such as Providence Health and Services and HCA.

In addition, Stephen has held various roles at Acelity, starting as a District Sales Manager from August 2006 to September 2010. Stephen then served as a National Sales Manager, Director of National Accounts, and Senior Director National Accounts/Government Accounts, where they played pivotal roles in strategizing and implementing contracting initiatives, expanding the customer base, and increasing sales.

Stephen's career in the healthcare industry began at Sanofi in 2001. Stephen served as a Hospital Sales Representative and later became a District Sales Manager, leading a team of orthopedic sales specialists across a 10-state region.

Prior to their career in healthcare, Stephen served as a Corporal of Marines in the United States Marine Corps from September 1984 to August 1988.

Stephen Panek received a Bachelor's Degree in History Pre-Law from Saint Louis University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992.
