Lucas Gouvea

Lucas Gouvea has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering. Lucas started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at FITec, where they contributed to projects in automated testing and HR management systems. Lucas then joined Hivelabs as a Software Engineer Intern, developing a mobile app and web project, as well as integrating E-commerce systems. At Agência WAAC, Lucas helped bootstrap an Insurance Management System and mentored junior developers. Lucas further expanded their skills at Seidor Brasil, working on web-based projects focused on resource and operation management. Lucas then joined Stefanini Brasil, where they worked on the development of the new PIX payment system for Cateno, gaining experience in payments and transactions ecosystems and AWS services. Following this, they joined Meta as a Software Engineer and later joined Olist as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on scalability, observability, cloud architecture, and product metrics for the mobile team's backend. Currently, Lucas works as a Senior Software Engineer at Azos.

Lucas Gouvea completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Itajubá from 2012 to 2019. Lucas is currently pursuing a specialization in DevOps & Continuous Software Engineering at PUC Minas, starting in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Lucas Gouvea has obtained several certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lucas received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in September 2021 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in April 2021. Lucas also obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification in April 2022.
