Sergei Iakovenko

Sergei Iakovenko is a Cryptography Researcher at Aztec since September 2023. Previously, Sergei served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Regensburg from May 2022 to August 2023 and as a Scientific Researcher at the Max-Planck-Institut für Mathematik from September 2017 to February 2022. Sergei earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from The University of Bonn, completing this degree in March 2022, and holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Saint Petersburg State University, awarded in June 2017.
