Dan Goldberg has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. From 1989 to 2000, they worked as a Reporter, Editor, and Photographer for various newspapers. In 2000, they joined PeopleSoft as a Web Marketing Producer, where they made strategic and editorial decisions for the corporate website and covered corporate acquisitions and news announcements. Dan also served as a Content Manager for Customer Connection. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Web Producer for Texaco.com at Chevron, leading the website's redesign. At Taleo, they held multiple roles, including Marketing Web Developer and Sr. Web Writer and Editor, where they led the redesign of the Taleo.com website and built and updated the web section for the acquisition of competitor Vurv Inc. Dan worked as an Internet Marketing Manager at CallidusCloud from 2011 to 2013. Dan then became a Senior Content Marketing Manager at xMatters, Inc. from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they also served as an Online Marketing Manager for kintone at Cybozu for a brief period in 2014. From 2013 to 2015, Dan worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in Content Marketing. Dan later joined Instana, where they first worked as a Content Marketing Manager, producing blogs, eBooks, and contributing to SEO. Dan then became the Director of Content Marketing and Product Marketing, managing the development and execution of quarterly content themes and partnering with IBM to strengthen the IBM brand. Currently, Dan holds the position of Director of Content Marketing at Azul, a company focused on modernizing Java.

Dan Goldberg earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1984 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Inbound Marketing from Inbound University, HubSpot in January 2012, and in Google Analytics for Beginners and Intermediate from Google in October 2020.
