Michael Roeschter

Michael Roeschter has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Michael started their career as a Consultant at Basycon in 1996, where they worked until 2000. Michael then joined Bauer & Partner as a Principal Consultant from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they worked at TIBCO as a Principal Global Architect for over 13 years, responsible for pre-sales, project initiation, customer care, and managing support escalations. During this time, they also played a key role in defining and managing new hire training programs. In 2015, they joined Teradata as a Senior Solution Architect for a year. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Denodo as a Pre-Sales/Principal Solutions Architect, providing support and advisory services to customers in the DACH sales region, as well as managing partner relationships in Japan. Currently, they are employed at Azul Systems as a Sales Engineer, focused on supporting and improving Java and the Java Virtual Machine, particularly in Zulu Embedded, offering commercial support for OpenJDK on embedded systems.

Michael Roeschter obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 1989 and 1995.
