Paul Hopgood

Paul Hopgood is a seasoned Geomatics Manager with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas sector, currently serving at Azule Energy since July 2023. In this role, Paul oversees survey and geospatial data management, harmonizing assets from BP and ENI. As Director of Mappaemundi Ltd since 2008, Paul has delivered geomatics and remote sensing services globally. Previous key positions include Geomatics Manager for BP in Oman and Angola and Senior Geomatician roles at Anadarko and BG Group. Paul holds an MSc in Geographical Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Hydrographic Surveying, and a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Plymouth.
