Erfan Jap

Erfan Jap has been working in the software engineering and development field since 1999. Erfan began their career at Innovax Systems Pte Ltd as a Software Developer, developing IVR (Interactive Voice Response) solutions, PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange), VoIP, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management). In 2002, they moved to Abacus International, where they worked as a Software Developer on GDS (Global Distribution Systems) software and developing solutions for travel-related services and airline ticketing. In 2008, they joined Infomedia Ltd as a Software Developer. From 2018 to 2021, Erfan worked at Service NSW as a Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer, where they worked on Service New South Wales's Personal Profile and Digital Notifications portfolios, using Kotlin, Spring Boot, Spring Security, VMWare Tanzu Application Service (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), Test Driven Development, and Pair Programming. Currently, they are employed at Azupay as a Software Engineer, building Azupay's PayTo product.

Erfan Jap obtained a Master's degree in Computing and Information Technology from UNSW from 2005 to 2007. Erfan also has several certifications, including an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle obtained in October 2017, an AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in November 2022, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in August 2018.
