Richard Galvin

Richard Galvin has a long and varied career in the banking and finance industry. Richard began their career in 1990 at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) as a Retail and Small Business Banking Associate, then progressed to a Transaction Banking Specialist, Product Consultant for Working Capital Services, and Manager for Banking Specialists and Transaction Banking. In 2017, they moved to Temenos as Head of Sales, then to VGB Wealth in 2018 as Director of Transaction Advisory Services. In 2019, they joined Openpay as Head of B2B, then Payright in 2020 as National Sales Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they became Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships at Azupay.

Richard Galvin completed a Diploma in Arts from Dandenong College of Technical and Further Education in 1988-1989. Richard then completed a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University in 1999-2000. In 2015-2016, they obtained a Certificate International Cash Management (CertICM) from the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Richard also obtained a Certification in Financial Support Services from SWIFT in 2016.
