Christopher Kuehl

Associate Director at Azurity Pharmaceuticals

Christopher Kuehl has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and bioscience industries. Christopher is currently serving as the Associate Director at Azurity Pharmaceuticals since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions from September 2016 to October 2020, starting as a Scientist and later being promoted to Lead Scientist. At Catalent, they performed various tests for commercial products under GMP protocols and managed multiple different tests for different products.

Before joining Catalent, Christopher worked at Ventria Bioscience as an Analytical Scientist from March 2016 to September 2016. During their time there, they developed analytical methods for investigating protein modifications during production scale manufacturing and performed forced degradation reactions to validate these methods. Christopher also transferred and adapted methods developed by outside labs.

Prior to Ventria Bioscience, Christopher was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ventria Bioscience from August 2015 to March 2016, where they focused on developing analytical methods to investigate protein modifications and transferring methods developed by outside labs.

Christopher started their career as a Graduate Student/Doctoral Candidate at the University of Kansas from August 2010 to August 2015. Christopher also served as an NIGMS Dynamic Aspects of Chemical Biology Trainee from August 2011 to June 2014.

Additionally, Christopher has internship experience from Genentech in 2013 and was a Graduate Research Trainee at Monash University in 2012.

Christopher Kuehl's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, obtained between the years 2006 and 2010. Christopher then pursued a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Kansas from 2010 to 2012. Christopher continued their education at the University of Kansas, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry between the years 2012 and 2015.
