Shatz Cole

Shatz Cole has had a long and varied career in the technology and insurance industries. In 2021, they began working as the Vice President of Technology, Data & Analytics for b atomic llc, a fully-remote insurtech start-up. In this role, they manage the Engineering & Analytics department, develop SQL and Python code, create and maintain ETL dataflows, and build dashboards. They also administer the company's AWS Organization, Azure services, and Google Workplace. In 2019, they began working as the Vice President of Technology for Upside4, where they spearheaded the development of the IT department and led a fully-remote staff. From 2008-2019, they worked for Motorists Insurance Group / Consumers Insurance in various roles, including Director of IT Services, Database Manager, and Senior Database Developer. From 1996-2008, they worked for Sallie Mae / Academic Management Services in roles such as Application Development Analyst I & II, Analyst / Lead Management, Program Analyst, Account Operations Coordinator, and Special Account Services Representative.

Shatz Cole has an extensive education history. In 2021, they began a Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics at Boston University, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In 2017, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Additionally, in 2004, they obtained an Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bristol Community College. In addition to their degrees, Cole has obtained multiple certifications.
