Javier Cabral

Javier Cabral has been working in the engineering field since 2009. Javier started at Grupo Gonher as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer, where they were involved in changing flowcharts, creating and modifying layouts, and participating in Kaizen events. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a Manufacturing Technician and then as a Manufacturing Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for project development at the data base department, implementing ISO on production lines, and leading Green Belt projects. In 2014, they worked at LG Electronics as a Manufacturing Engineer. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Polytex Fibers LLC as a Lead Engineer and then at Laerdal Medical as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer. Since 2020, they have been working at Quebec Pro Pli Inc. as an Estimateur-Chargé de projet. Most recently, they began working at B-Temia Inc. in 2021 as a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for writing and reviewing assembly, testing and packaging procedures, developing assembly methods, and monitoring quality control. Javier is also actively participating in design for assembly, testing and purchasing, managing the production of new products, providing technical support in production, and leading cost reduction activities.

Javier Cabral obtained their Ingeniero Mecánico Administrador degree from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León between 2006 and 2012, with a focus on HVAC systems and Financial Administration. Javier also attended San Antonio College between 2013 and 2015 to study ESL. In 2018, they took a French course at Mérci collégial privé. In addition to their education, Javier has obtained several certifications, including a Membre de l'ordre des ingénieurs du Québec from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in 2022, a Français langue étrangère from Mérci collégial privé in 2018, a Project Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2016, a Six Sigma Green Belt, DMAIC methodology from Caterpillar Inc. in 2012, a Results-Oriented management from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2016, and an English as a second language from San Antonio College in 2013.
