Sara Barbot Roquette

Sara Barbot Roquette has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Sara is currently serving as the Group Legal Director at BA GLASS since October 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Group General Counsel - Head of Legal at BA GLASS from August 2019. From February 2018 to July 2019, they worked as a Managing Associate at TELLES Advogados. Before that, they gained experience as a Senior In House Counsel / Lawyer at Efacec from December 2016 to February 2018 and as a Senior Associate Lawyer at PLMJ - Sociedade de Advogados, RL from January to December 2016. Sara also has experience as the Head of Legal Office / In-house Senior Counsel at Kora Angola from October 2014 to January 2016, as an In-house Senior Lawyer at Martifer from February 2011 to September 2014, as a Lawyer at Miguel Veiga, Neiva Santos e Associados from 2006 to January 2011, and as a Trainee Lawyer at Castro Barros Sobral Gomes Advogados from September 2005 to March 2006.

Sara Barbot Roquette has a diverse education history. In 1997-1998, they attended Universidade Católica Portuguesa and pursued studies in Communication Studies. Following that, they earned their Licenciatura degree in Law (Direito - Law) from Universidade Portucalense (UPT) from 1999-2005. In 2011-2012, they attended a private institution to specialize in Legal English. Lastly, in 2018, Sara completed a Postgraduate program in Corporate Law (Direito das Empresas) from Universidade de Coimbra.
