Matt Carpenter currently serves as the Director of Alumni Relations at Eastern Nazarene College, focusing on building and renewing relationships with alumni and planning engaging events. With extensive experience dating back to 1985, Matt has been the Elite Athlete Fluid Distribution Team Coordinator for the Boston Athletic Association, managing logistics and volunteers for the prestigious Boston Marathon. Previous roles include CSR/Adjuster for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Apheresis Telerecruiter with the American Red Cross, and various positions in marketing and relationship management across multiple industries, including financial services, insurance, and healthcare. Matt holds a BA in Social Work and Sociology from Eastern Nazarene College.

Established in 1887, the Boston Athletic Association is a non-profit organization with a mission of managing athletic events and promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. While its signature event remains the Boston Marathon, the Boston Athletic Association manages a comprehensive, year-round schedule of events including the B.A.A.
