Environmental Scientist at Babbage

Aditi completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Environmental Sciences at the University of Pune, India. Following which she worked as a graduate scientist for a company in India specializing in water and wastewater treatment techniques, and assisted with several water treatment projects while obtaining client and regulatory approvals for project proposals. Aditi then moved to New Zealand to pursue her doctoral degree in civil and environmental engineering to specialize in plant assisted remediation of metal and nano metal contaminated environments using amendments ethylene diaminedisuccinic acid (EDDS) and gibberellic acid. While undertaking research she also worked as a graduate teaching assistant for a brief period at the University of Auckland. She has been working in New Zealand as an Environmental Scientist since 2016. Her expertise includes assisting in contaminated land investigations and remediation and validation of sites covering a range of land use developments. Aditi has also been part of several complex land remediation projects including site remediation activities in accordance with established management plans, guidelines and standards. She has assisted in compliance monitoring, preparation of consent applications and interactions with regulatory authorities for consent processing.
