Charlotte Garrett

Charlotte graduated from the University of Auckland in 2019 with a BSc, majoring in Marine Science and Biology. Her studies included biogeography, successional processes, fisheries and animal behaviour. After developing an interest in plants, she went on to study and work as a landscape designer, with particular interest in native and pollinator-friendly gardens, as well as improving soil health and working with local ecology to produce great anthropogenic and environmental results.Charlotte’s studies in science and in landscape design have highlighted the interconnectedness of environmental processes, and how no organism or ecosystem is acting in isolation from another. This has been a fundamental understanding in all of her work to date.
