Gerry Deighan

Gerry Deighan has extensive experience in the shipbuilding industry, having held various managerial roles at significant organizations. Currently, Gerry serves as Delivery Lead for Queen Elizabeth Carriers at Babcock International Group since March 2014, following a tenure as Project Manager for OPV Contracts at the same company from 2010 to 2014. Earlier positions include Project Manager for the QEC build at BVT Surface Fleet Ltd (2006-2010) and Build Project Manager at BAE Systems Surface Ships Ltd (1999-2010). Gerry also contributed as Build Project Manager for the Aircraft Carrier Alliance from 2003 to 2007 and served as Shipbuild Manager at KVERNER SHIPPING from 1990 to 1999, overseeing all shipbuilding activities. Gerry's educational background includes studies at the University of Strathclyde and St Andrews, with a focus on higher math and history.
