Lucy Dimes is an experienced executive who has a proven track record in leading large-scale transformation programmes. Lucy is currently an independent non-executive director at Babcock International Group, and was previously the group chief strategy and transformation officer at Virgin Money UK PLC.
At Virgin Money, Lucy was responsible for leading the integration of Virgin Money with Clydesdale Bank to become the UK's 6th largest retail bank. Lucy also oversaw a £1.3bn investment programme spanning group rebranding, branch consolidation and refitting, process digitisation and product/service relaunches.
Lucy is a passionate and active champion for gender diversity and inclusion, and is also an executive sponsor for the ethnic diversity agenda. Lucy is widely recognised as an expert in their field, and their experience will be invaluable in helping to drive Babcock International Group forward.
Lucy Dimes began their educational career by obtaining their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University. Lucy then furthered their education by completing an Executive Development Programme at Harvard Business School, before finally completing their Master of Business Administration at London Business School.
