Steve Moran

Steve Moran is a highly experienced crane professional with a career spanning several decades, beginning in 1983 with Sparrows Crane Hire Limited. Currently serving as a Lifting and Slinging Specialist at Babcock International Group since March 2024, Steve previously held the position of Lifting Engineer at Notus Heavy Lift Solutions from August 2021 to March 2024. From September 2011 to August 2021, Steve served as Director at Contract Lift Services Limited. Prior experience includes roles as Depot Manager and Contract Lift Manager at Ainscough Crane Hire Ltd. between May 2003 and September 2011, and as a Sales Representative at Baldwins Industrial Services PLC from 2000 to 2003. Steve possesses an HNC in Engineering Design from Bristol Polytechnic and has a proven track record in planning contract crane lifts with various crane types exceeding 200 tonnes.
