Farbod Farhadi

Farbod Farhadi currently serves as the Faculty Director for the Master of Science in Business Analytics program and as an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Methods at Babson College since August 2023. From April 2015, Farbod has held the position of Chief Data Scientist and Associate Consultant specializing in Quantitative Modeling and Data Analytics at Bâton Global. Prior experience includes serving as MBA Director and Associate Professor in Business Analytics & Operations Management at Roger Williams University from August 2014 to August 2023. Farbod also worked as a Teaching Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from January 2012 to May 2014, and held roles in project planning and operations engineering at MACHINE SAZI ARAK and Saipa, respectively. Educationally, Farbod earned a Ph.D. in Management Science from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, a Master of Science in Production & Operations Management from Shahid Beheshti University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Bu-Ali Sina University.
