Julie Levinson is a Professor of Film at Babson College since 2012 and an accomplished author, known for works such as "THE AMERICAN SUCCESS MYTH ON FILM" and "ALEXANDER PAYNE INTERVIEWS." Levinson co-edited "ACTING (Behind the Silver Screen)" and has a rich background in the arts, having served as a Producer/Curator at the New England Foundation for the Arts from 1989 to 1996, Curator of Film at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston from 1983 to 1989, and Director of Programming at the Boston Film/Video Foundation from 1980 to 1983. Educational credentials include an A.B. in Theatre Arts and English from Cornell University, as well as a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Film from Boston University.
