Kaitlyn Doherty

Kaitlyn Doherty is an experienced Technical Designer with a strong background in the fashion industry, currently serving as a Technical Designer for Owned Brands at Babylist since October 2023. Prior to this, Kaitlyn owned and operated Kaitlyn Sews Things starting in December 2022. From February 2018 to December 2022, Kaitlyn held the position of Senior Technical Designer at Garan, Incorporated, specializing in toddler girl apparel and 3D design, where notable achievements included implementing a 3D block pattern library and successfully conducting virtual fittings for production styles. Earlier roles included Technical Designer at NY Brand Studio/Mix, where responsibilities spanned multiple divisions, and various positions with a focus on technical design and patternmaking, supporting garment production processes. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from Philadelphia University and has also studied at the American University of Rome.
