Aleco Azqueta

Aleco Azqueta has a diverse work experience in the marketing field. Aleco currently serves as a Marketing Advisory Board Member at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Prior to that, they worked at Bacardi, where they held several positions, including Vice President of Marketing for Grey Goose, Director of Incubation Brands, and Incubation Brands. Before joining Bacardi, Aleco co-founded Atlantico Importing Company, where they worked for ten years. Aleco also worked at Bacardi as the Director of Grey Goose Vodkas for a decade.

Aleco Azqueta completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree at Georgetown University from 1994 to 1998. Aleco then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business at the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, Aleco Azqueta participated in the Emilio Bacardi Harvard Business School Leadership Program, completing Module 1 in 2021 and Module 2 in 2021. In 2022, they obtained the Emilio Bacardi Harvard Business School Leadership Program certification from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
