Federico Heras

Federico Heras serves as the Global Enterprise Architecture Manager at Bacardi since August 2021, focusing on integrating enterprise architecture guidelines within technological initiatives. Concurrently, Federico operates as a part-time Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, teaching Object Oriented Programming and Operating Systems across multiple academic years. Prior roles include Global Solution Architect at PageGroup, where responsibilities encompassed collaboration on IT solutions and core financial systems projects, as well as EMEA Solution Architect and Lead Software Architect at Omron Industrial Automation Europe, managing software product configurations. In academia, Federico contributed as a Senior Scientist at University College Dublin, leading research on optimization and logistics within the BEACON project. Federico holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Postgraduate degree in Project Management from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
