Mikayla Barker

Mikayla Barker has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of social media and communications. Mikayla currently holds the position of Senior Manager of Social Media and Influencer Marketing at Bachan's, a role they began in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Beyond Meat, where they served as a Social Media Manager from May 2022 to June 2023, and as the Acting Director of Social & Digital Media from September 2022 to February 2023.

Before their time at Beyond Meat, Mikayla worked at Quativa as a Social Media Manager from March 2021 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for developing social media strategies, managing the content team, engaging with followers and influencers, and allocating budget for social media campaigns.

Earlier in their career, Mikayla held various positions at Yahoo, Oklahoma State University Athletics, the National Football League (NFL), the Big 12 Conference, Oklahoma State University, Fox Television Stations, and Tulsa Athletic. These roles involved responsibilities such as managing social media projects for tentpole events, coordinating asset distribution, creating paid social strategies, producing social media content, and managing team communications and marketing.

Mikayla’s work experience showcases their expertise in social media management, influencer marketing, content creation, budget allocation, and community engagement. Mikayla has a demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies and has successfully worked in various industries, including food, sports, and entertainment.

Mikayla Barker obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Sports Media and Strategic Communications from Oklahoma State University between 2014 and 2018. In addition, they have also obtained the Twitter Flight School Badge from Twitter in June 2021.
