Corinne Nawn

Corinne Nawn, PhD is a senior consultant at Back Bay Life Science Advisors. She supports strategic engagements by employing her deep scientific and engineering backgrounds across a range of therapeutic areas to understand the nuanced environments and derive targeted solutions for biopharma and MedTech clients.

Dr. Nawn joined Back Bay from the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research, where she developed battlefield medical technologies while pursuing her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio and UT Health San Antonio. Her military medical research work frequently involved direct engagement with clinical providers, leading to a range of published and presented work in airway management, animal model development, hemorrhage control, biosensors, exoskeletons, and decision support algorithms.

Dr. Nawn also consulted for the City of San Antonio to develop a collaborative framework for industry, academic, and governmental entities to partner around military medical solutions. Before her work in Texas, Cori attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where she majored in Biomedical Engineering and minored in Computer Science.
