Joy Chiu

Joy Chiu is a Senior UX Researcher at Back Market, where they lead B2C research on circular economy and market expansion for a refurbished electronics marketplace. They have also worked as a UX Analyst at Virtual Experience Interaction Lab, User Researcher at PicCollage, and User Experience Researcher at MIT Media Lab. In previous roles, they have served as a mental health peer counselor, occupational therapy intern, academic researcher, and research intern, showcasing a diverse background in research and analysis. Joy holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Minor in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis, and has also studied at the University of Cape Town and Taipei American School.
