Valerie Blaemire has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Valerie is currently working as the Development Director, Mid-Atlantic at Back on My Feet, where they combat homelessness through fitness, community support, and employment and housing resources. Previously, they worked as a Manager, Individual Giving and Stewardship at Safe Shores - The DC Children's Advocacy Center. Prior to that, they served as a Marketing and Development Associate at Edlavitch DCJCC and as a Grants and Development Intern at THE AUDREY HERMAN SPOTLIGHTERS THEATRE, INC. Valerie also gained experience as a Development Intern at The Maryland Symphony Orchestra and as a Child, Youth, and School Services Piano Instructor at the Department of the Army. Additionally, they worked as a Marketing and Development Intern at Weinberg Center For The Arts and as a Radio Production Intern at WGBH.

Valerie Blaemire received their Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Later on, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Performing Arts Administration from Roosevelt University, completing their studies in 2016.
