Maarten Kremers

Maarten Kremers has a diverse and extensive work experience. Maarten currently works at Backbase as a Delivery Lead, overseeing multiple projects and building relationships with executives and C-level of Banks and Credit Unions. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Project Manager at Backbase for the USA West Coast region, where they created and implemented customer-facing software solutions for US Banks & Credit Unions. Maarten also worked as a Co-Founder at 150birds: Marketing-as-a-Service, where they created a B2B marketplace and acted as the COO & Head of Product. Earlier in their career, they worked at Rabobank as a Product Manager, Senior Manager of Business Banking, and in Start-up Banking roles, where they played a key role in developing business lending platforms, advising clients on scaling their businesses, and building relationships in the start-up ecosystem.

Maarten Kremers has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, which was obtained in 2012. In 2018, they completed a post Bachelor's Degree in Big Data Business Analyst from Inholland Academy. In 2019, Maarten pursued further education in Cloud Computing and Subscription Models from Stanford Continuing Studies and Blockchain Fundamentals from UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (EECS). In 2021, they participated in the Digital Transformation: Platform Strategies for Success program at MIT Sloan Executive Education. Maarten has also obtained additional certifications, including SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., Computer Science 101 from Stanford Online Lagunita, and Design Thinking for Innovation from Coursera.
