Ian Anderson

Ian Anderson began their work experience in 1999 as a Founding Board Member of First Descents. In 1999, they also joined the Vail Valley Chamber & Tourism Bureau as the Director of Marketing and Communications, where they played a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies. At Backbone Media, LLC, Ian started in 2006 as a Partner and Director of Public Relations. Ian later became the Vice President of Public Relations and a Partner in June 2020. Backbone Media is a leading active lifestyle media and PR agency.

Ian Anderson attended the University of Virginia from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs.
