Nicolás Medeiros

Nicolás Medeiros is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering and Engineering Manager at BacklotCars since December 2019, where the focus is on creating a transparent online marketplace for auto dealers. In addition, Nicolás has been a Professor at Universidad de Montevideo since March 2022, teaching Programming 2 and Software Engineering 1 courses. Prior to these roles, Nicolás co-founded IUGO Software & Design Studio, overseeing operations and functioning as a technical lead from August 2007 to January 2020, and served as Interim CTO at AstroPay for a brief period in 2019. Earlier experience includes roles as Technical Leader and Senior Software Developer at CodigoDelSur, and Software Developer positions at Price Waterhouse and Parallel. Nicolás holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad de la República.
