Roger A Betancourt

Roger A Betancourt is an experienced Chief Information Officer with over 25 years of experience in the field. Roger A has held leadership positions at a variety of organizations, including Backpack, Anthem Inc., Simply Healthcare Plans, Laird Plastics, Bijoux Terner, Watson Pharmaceuticals (formerly Andrx Pharmaceuticals), Burger King Corporation, Asix Interactive, Ryder System, and NCR. Throughout their career, Mr. Betancourt has been responsible for a variety of IT functions such as Service Desk, data center infrastructure, security, application development, telecom, and network management, among others. Some of their notable accomplishments include overseeing large-scale automation and restructuring projects to manage increased transaction volumes, establishing Business Intelligence and Business to Employee e-Business functions, and managing relationships with IT outsourcing providers. Most recently, they have been the SVP & Chief Information Officer at Backpack.

Roger A Betancourt earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Lehigh University from 1986 to 1990. Roger A later pursued their Master of Business Administration degree in Business from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business between 1993 and 1995.
