Sachi Regev has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Most recently, they have been working at Elcam Medical since 2017, starting as a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator and later becoming a QA Engineer. They then transitioned to the role of Chief Democracy Officer. Prior to Elcam Medical, Sachi was involved in various research and development roles in the medical industry. This includes co-founding and managing the Israeli subsidiary of BacterioScan, Inc, where they oversaw operations related to the development and validation of electro-optical systems for bacteria detection. They also worked as the R&D director at Intelllimedi, focusing on measuring post-trauma bone fusion, and as part of the R&D team at IETMed, where they developed a Neurosurgical Imaging Enhancement System. Additionally, Sachi has experience as a researcher at Simetra Pharm, working on developing an anti-cancer drug, and as the CEO of Impetus. They began their professional journey as a Ph.D. student at RAHAN Meristems, gaining expertise in molecular biology techniques.
Sachi Regev holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Plants Molecular Biology, also from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Sachi Regev completed their earlier education at the University of Haifa, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) Cum Laude degree along with teaching studies in Biology.
