Castilñano Simoons is an experienced and award-winning interaction designer based in Oslo. They have more than 12 years of experience in the industry and have worked with companies such as Danish TV2, Telenor, KLP, Norges Gruppen, VY, Stokke, The mobile company 3, Canal Digital, Scandinavian Design Group, and Northern Beat. Castilñano has also co-founded and worked as a partner and creative director for Bad Norwegian, a Norwegian brand specializing in grooming and lifestyle products. They are also a partner and co-founder of Oslo Brewing Company, which aims to showcase love for Oslo through their beer. Additionally, Castilñano has worked as an interaction designer and service designer at Bleed Designstudio and Making Waves, as well as a teacher at Akademiet Videregående skole. They have also held roles at 15meanings, AHO, meld, and Norway Says. Their expertise lies in UX, strategy, and service design.

Castilñano Simoons completed their secondary education at Røyken Videregående from 1996 to 1999. Castilñano then pursued higher education, earning a Master's degree in Product/Interaction and Service Design from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) between 2002 and 2008. In 2006, Simoons also attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided.
