Cyrus Karsan

Cyrus Karsan began their work experience in 2019 as a Software Engineering Intern at Symbaloo.com. Here, they created a profanity filter REST API and a chatbot in JavaScript, reducing incoming support tickets by 25%. Then, in 2019, they became a Resident Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they counseled peers, created and implemented programs, and mentored and supervised residents. In 2020, Cyrus joined Badger Meter as a Software Engineer Intern, where they built a REACT app, utilized ElasticSearch and mySQL to enable customer filtering and login features, and deployed code to address customer concerns. In April 2021, they transitioned to a Software Engineer role at Badger Meter.

Cyrus Karsan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, completing their studies between 2017 and 2021.
