Adam Woodman is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in software and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. since August 2019, Adam specializes in developing real-time Linux Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testbeds and simulations for satellite flight software. Prior experience includes roles at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer and at the University of Colorado Denver as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, where Adam contributed to research in particle flow and assisted in thermodynamics education. Earlier career experiences include positions at Belcan Corporation and Pratt & Whitney, focusing on manufacturing engineering and tooling development. Adam holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
