Geoffrey Torrington

Geoffrey Torrington serves as the Space Systems Technical Director at BAE Systems, Inc. since May 2017, where responsibilities include aligning technical solutions and intellectual property to enhance business outcomes across the Space Systems Product Line. Previously held roles at BAE Systems include Chief Scientist and Product Line Science Lead for the Radiofrequency, Electronics, and Cyber Product Line, and Technical Director of Systems Engineering. Prior experiences encompass positions at RAND Corporation as a Senior Engineer, TASC, Inc. as Concepts Team Leader, and Sandia National Laboratories as both Intergovernmental Personnel Assignee and Member of Technical Staff. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace and as a Junior Engineer at Quest Integrated. Geoffrey holds a Master of Science in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University, along with an English Diploma from Phillips Exeter Academy.
