John Welham

John Welham has extensive work experience in various roles within the steel and mining industry. John started their career at Tata Steel as a Graduate in 2007 and later became a Business Analyst from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Fleet Scheduler at Tata Steel Europe. John then moved on to Tata Steel as a Central Buyer, Iron Ore Supplies from 2011 to 2015, followed by the role of Manager Iron Ore Procurement from 2015 to 2019. Currently, John holds the position of Director Sales and Marketing at Baffinland, starting in June 2019.

John Welham attended Durham University from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they pursued an MEng degree in Engineering.
