Krista Johnson

Krista Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and socio-economic reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Socio-Economic Reporting at Baffinland since November 2018, Krista has previously held roles including Environmental Assessment Specialist and Project Manager/Environmental Assessment Coordinator for the Government of Nunavut. In earlier positions with Encana Corporation, Krista contributed as an Environmental Specialist and a Student Environmental Scientist, where key achievements included developing water management plans and a water tracking system for regulatory compliance. Additional experience includes work as a Geological Assistant with Red Pine Exploration and an Environmental Assistant with Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Krista holds a Master of Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University.
