Andy Thomas

Andy Thomas has a varied work experience spanning over several years. Andy currently holds the position of Member of the Board of Directors at the San Diego International Film Festival, a role they have been in since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a member of the Advisory Board at Birch Aquarium at Scripps starting from May 2019. In 2017, they joined the San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation as a Member of the Board of Directors. Andy has also held significant roles at Evans Hotels, where they were the Senior Vice President of Business Development since January 1994. Additionally, they have served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at La Jolla Playhouse starting from May 2017. Earlier in their career, Andy held multiple roles at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, including Senior Vice President of Business Development and General Manager. Andy also worked as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa and Bahia Resort Hotel.

Andy Thomas attended Regis University from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Andy then went on to the University of Denver from 1986 to 1989, majoring in Hotel Management.
