Isio Nelson

Managing Director - Research, Fraud & Thought Leadership at BAI

Isio Nelson has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Isio currently serves as the Head of Client Engagement - Research at BAI, where they lead a team focused on client interactions and business development. Prior to this, Isio held multiple leadership positions at Equifax, including SVP - Consulting and Enabling Solutions, GM/SVP - Emerging and Differentiated Services, VP - Financial Services Group, and Strategic Account Team Director. Isio was responsible for leading teams, managing portfolios, and driving revenue and profit growth. Isio also worked as the VP of Sales & Marketing at American FINCO Financial Services, where they played a key role in the company's transition from a cost center to a profit center. At Citi, Isio served as the Director of Account Management, managing a large private label client relationship and implementing marketing strategies. Isio began their career at Equifax as a Regional Director, successfully selling decision solutions to major accounts. Prior to that, Isio held several roles at Capital One (formerly Household Retail Services), contributing to portfolio growth and operational excellence.

Isio Nelson completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Operations Management from DeVry from 1992 to 1996. Isio has also obtained various certifications including BAI - Leadership Development from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in June 2021, Customer Success Management Fundamentals from LinkedIn in March 2021, A Toolkit for Giving and Receiving Better Feedback from LinkedIn in February 2021, Introduction to AWS for Non-Engineers: 1 Cloud Concepts from LinkedIn in February 2021, and Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences from LinkedIn in January 2021.
