Scott Green

Scott Green is an experienced horticultural professional with a strong background in plant health and nursery management. Currently serving as Plant Health Foreman at Bailey Nurseries since June 2005, Scott is responsible for budgeting, purchasing, and overseeing the pesticide and fertilizer department at the Sauvie Island location, while ensuring the health and quality of field-grown nursery stock on a 1300-acre farm. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Nursery Manager at Jesse Israel and Sons Nursery from June 2000 to September 2004, where expertise was developed in wholesale and retail container and balled & burlapped plants. Scott began the career as a Field Production Supervisor at Kinsey Gardens Inc. from January 1996 to May 2000. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany, Horticulture, and Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completed in 1995.
