Brendan Hanrahan

Brendan Hanrahan is a seasoned professional in finance and policy, currently serving as Vice President of Private Equity at Bain Capital since July 2017. Previously, Brendan held a role as a Policy Fellow in the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the United States Senate for a brief period in 2020. Brendan's consulting experience includes positions as a Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from September 2014 to July 2017, along with a summer analyst role in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley in 2013. Earlier in their career, Brendan demonstrated leadership as a Site Leader for Tenacity, focusing on youth development through athletic achievement, and gained initial experience as an intern with the Massachusetts State Senate. Brendan holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an AB in Social Studies from Harvard University.
