Gordon Barnes

Gordon Barnes, CAIA, currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Group - Partnership Strategies at Bain Capital since March 2020. Prior to this role, Barnes held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Business Risk Management/Operational Due Diligence at Cambridge Associates from June 2006 to March 2020, focusing on investment manager operational due diligence and business risk management across various asset classes. Earlier experience includes roles as Analyst and Manager of Operations for HFOF at Kobren Insight Management, Senior Accountant at Bisys Hedge Fund Services, Mutual Fund Custody Accountant at Investors Bank & Trust, and an Analyst at John Hancock.
