Prakash Gupta

Prakash Gupta has a diverse range of work experience in finance, with a focus on the insurance industry. Prakash currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Finance at Bajaj Allianz Life, where they have been since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President at the same company from February 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Bajaj Allianz Life, Prakash worked at HSBC - Global Finance Centre from January 2017 to February 2020. During their time there, they held the role of Assistant Vice President and was responsible for various financial tasks such as finalizing P&L and balance sheet for the life insurance business in Hong Kong. Prakash also led projects to enhance control, drive strategic decisions, and improve the efficiency of the finance function.

Prakash's earlier experiences include positions at Max Life Insurance Company Limited, where they held various roles such as Chief Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, Senior Manager of Financial Planning Analysis, Manager of Finance Control, Deputy Manager of Finance, and Assistant Manager of Finance between 2008 and 2017. Plus, they briefly worked as an Assistant Manager at Fiorano Group in 2007.

Throughout their career, Prakash has demonstrated strong financial expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive change and strategic initiatives within organizations. Prakash has a proven track record of managing teams, ensuring data integrity, and implementing risk and control measures.

Prakash Gupta obtained a Chartered Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2007.
