Prashant Girase

Prashant Girase has over 17 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, currently serving as Lead - Strategic Sourcing at Bajaj Electricals Ltd since September 2014, managing supplier engagement for a diverse range of fan products with a spending budget of INR 750 Crores. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Purchase, overseeing procurement and production planning activities, and Manager of Purchase, where strategic purchasing policies and vendor management practices were established. Earlier experiences at Wipro Enterprises Ltd. and Wipro Lighting involved category sourcing for luminaries and material planning, respectively. Prashant holds a PGDM in Operations Management from Symbiosis and a Bachelor of Engineering in Production from Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with recent education in Personal Finance from the 1% Club.
