Emma Ashwood

Emma Ashwood has extensive experience in technical and professional writing instruction, currently serving as a Document Editor II at BakerRisk since June 2023. Prior roles included leading a Technical Professional Writing Course at Texas A&M University, assisting over 30 students, and offering personalized writing support. Emma has also served as an English Mentor and Teaching Assistant in Biomedical Engineering, where guidance in writing mechanics and industry-specific communication was provided. Experience includes a position at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, focusing on multitasking and workflow management, as well as mentoring English as a Second Language students. Emma holds both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Texas A&M University and earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a 3.9 GPA from Magnolia West High School.
