Joshua Bruce-Black is an experienced professional in mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Manager in Consequence/Risk Analysis and Principal Consultant at BakerRisk since January 2020. Joshua previously worked at BakerRisk as a Project Consultant and Consultant from August 2008 to December 2013. Joshua gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on infrared thermography and wind tunnel tests. Other roles included a Teaching Assistant at the same university, a Product Design Engineering Intern at Ford Motor Company, a Research Assistant at Wayne State University, and a Head Assistant Tennis Professional at Plum Hollow Country Club. Joshua holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
